I spent awhile debating between the turkey burger and the shroom burger, my dad went with the shroom. Holy shit. Two portabella caps stuffed with cheese, then the whole thing is covered in Panko crumbs and flash fried. I would have eaten his whole shroom if he hadn’t fended me off so well.

I never had a subscription because it was a little old for me, but I would read them cover to cover in the hair salon. It was the class, the pure profesisonalism, the indepth cultural coverage that got me. And to think that another 12-year-old, instead of having VIBE to look up to, will idolize anything less is extremely disheartening.

Regarding Thriller
Seeing Thriller at a young age ruined any chances I had at being a fan of horror films. It wasn’t until I was in my late teens that I could watch it all the way through without being throughly creeped out. But watching it just now, it’s like, man, if a bunch of zombies come out and start dancing at you, you don’t really have anything to worry about.
